I hope 2010 has started well for everyone out there. .
Nothing much happened here lately...
Sorry for the late update!
The internet connection was so unstable here in the residence..
so does the 3 mobile broadband..even worst!! arghhh...
How I spent my new year s eve??
I spent it here right in Adelaide for the very first time and..
I spent it with special companies..
Unexpected ones i should say..=X
Went down to the city around 5 p.m. ..
It was 41 degrees out there..burning hot..
Climbed up stairs to reach here..
Wonder why there is no lift access
I know i know..
I shall not complain but i really cannot stand the heat out there..
SkyCity, Adelaide's casino for buffet dinner..
A weird place to dine?
Was last minutes decision as most of the places were fully booked
FYI, this is the most expensive meal I have ever paid for..
AUD$55 for the first round of the night
Second round costs AUD$90 per person which goes over till midnight ..
Ngek ngek ngek..That s what we called New Year Eve's dinner..
We were seated on table #23..Lucky number??? Who we????

Benson & Mr Bo were trying very hard to communicate with each other Cantonese vs Mandarin 
Grace and myself Chit chat and ate non stop..
Since it s too early to countdown.. We went for 3 hours Karaoke session
Me..Me..Me..
After the session, we made our way down to Elder Park for the countdown session..
The crowd there really gave me a shock..
Heaps of them..Uncountable...
Cool bands were singing on stage..
We visited stalls selling glow sticks, snacks and etc
just to kill the time while waiting for the fire works..
Overheard the conversation below....

A: Sir, would you like to get a rose for your girlfriend??
B: Sorry mate, I would love to but I got no cash with me..
A: Not even a dollar??
B: I've got them in my credit card...
A walked away..annoyed..

Pity the guy who had to walk around the whole park selling roses on NYE..
Anyways..the countdown as usual came along with fire works..
which lasts for 15-20 minutes..cool huh??
No photos for that..
Camera went out of battery..
plus the camera took blurry pictures at night..
arghhh..Sony oh Sony..
Anyways, here are some of the highlights of year 2009...
1. I 'm away from home for about 10 months to pursue my tertiary studies here in Adelaide
2. I've not seen my parents through pictures or webcam for the past 10 months
3. I've experienced summer, winter, autumn and fall for the very first time
4. I survived the hottest day, 43 degrees and coolest day, 5 degrees
5. I've got myself a part time job that supports my current expenses
6. I've not played badminton for more than 10 times
7. I celebrated my 20th birthday here in Adelaide
8. I've got new scars...
9. I've started blogging..not very active tho.. and the list goes on..
I must say that 2009 has been one of the greatest years
BUT
I know 2010 is definitely gonna be better ..
Looking forward for the new start coming after my trip back from Malaysia
I'm counting down officially..
